The Pre-K Academy and Center for Teaching Excellence at Midland College houses and supports the foundation of teaching and learning through a research-based educational program. Learning by Design Magazine recognized the project as a 2024 Outstanding Project!
Pre-K students have the opportunity to learn from master teachers while aspiring educators can observe and improve their own teaching practices. The facility is designed around 21st-century Learning and incorporates shapes, colors, numbers, and letters into areas outside of the classroom for continued learning.
